Sonakshi Sinha starrer 'Noor' managed to mint Rs 1.25 crore on its first day
'Noor' marks Sonakshi's second film as the main lead of a film after last year's action-drama 'Akira'. Sonakshi Sinha starrer Noor opened to a meagre Rs 1.54 crore on the first day of its release. According to senior journalist Taran Adarsh, the film which released on 1450 screens, need a major jump over the weekend to leave a mark, if at all, at the box office. He tweeted, “#Noor has a dull start… Fri ₹ 1.54 cr [1450 screens]. India biz… Needs a major jump over the weekend to leave a mark.”

Actress Sonakshi Sinha's recent release Noor got a dull start at the box office, says trade analyst Taran Adarsh. The film opened to damp reviews and made a meagre Rs 1.54 crore on the opening day. Noor opened in 1450 screens along with Raveen Tandon's Maatr and Aparna Sen's Sonata.
